Overview

China CREC Railway Electrification Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (EEB), was established in 1956 along with China's first electrified railway –Baofeng Line, and has traversed 52 years of glorious history. It is a subsidiary of China Railway Engineering Corporation (CREC), one of the world’s top 500 businesses and brands.

Over the past 52 years, EEB completed electrified railway of 26000 kilometers, according for 80% of the total in China. As the contractor of traction power supply system integration projects, EEB completed the construction of the Beijing-Tianjin inter-city high-speed railway, Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway, Nanjing-Shanghai high-speed railway, Shanghai-Hangzhou high-speed rail etc, which are according for 80% of the total length of operational high-speed railway in China. EEB is now contributing to construction of Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway. EEB has complete control of 350km / h and over electrified railway technology, such as design, construction and system-integration management; complete control of product design and manufacturing of the high-speed railway, such as catenary spare parts, high strength and high conductivity catenary wire, GIS switch etc. EEB develops among the forefront of international high-speed rail technology and became the first of OHL, Power supply, Signaling and Communication system integrators. EEB has made an outstanding contribution to China in its taking the second position in electrified railway and the first position in high-speed railway in the world.

EEB has been successively granted with 1 gold metals and 14 silver metals for projects of national quality, 9 Zhantianyou Civil Engineering awards, 8 Luban awards for Construction at national level, 87 awards for projects of provincial or ministerial quality, 6 awards for national science & technology development, 36 awards for provincial or ministerial science & technology development and 101 state-granted patents. Our latest scientific research, "the Beijing-Tianjin inter-city railway traction power supply system integrated innovation" was awarded first prize for scientific and technological progress by the Ministry of Railways.
